I am an experienced mental health practitioner with extensive expertise in helping adults cope with anxiety, depression, personal crisis, and substance abuse issues.  I am a practical, compassionate therapist who understands that the decision to seek professional help is rarely an easy one. I am committed to the belief that even short term therapy can be immensely valuable. We can work together to develop strategies and solutions that will help you feel more effective, relaxed and mindful.

Jenifer Korotko, ATR, LCPC

Ms. Jenifer Korotko ATR, LCPC  is an art therapist and licensed clinical professional counselor whose expertise includes working with adults struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse utilizing both verbal and art therapy approaches. Jenifer also has extensive experience working with veterans and their families. Jenifer is currently working toward two specialized trauma certification programs, one called Somatic Experiencing Trauma Therapy (SEP)  the other is the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM).  Between art therapy and a variety of trauma therapy techniques Jenifer pulls from a variety of pallets in order to provide the ideal combo to utilize in each client’s session.

Cherie Lusky, LCPC, ATR

Cherie is an art therapist and licensed counselor who started her private practice in Logan Square in 2012. Cherie is passionate about incorporating art and other creative expressions into the therapeutic process but is also comfortable facilitating traditional talk therapy sessions. She also has a particular interest in body-based modalities such as mindfulness meditation and somatic experiencing, both clinically and personally. Cherie primarily works with adult clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and life transitions but is open to exploring other issues with clients. Cherie is currently undergoing specialized training through the Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute.

Regina Newton, LCSW

dsc_3073Gina is a licensed clinical social worker dedicated to promoting mental wellness and enhancing life satisfaction.  Her clinical experience includes work with adults, teens, and families in treatment settings ranging from outpatient clinics to partial hospitalization programs.
Gina’s approach to therapy acknowledges that while we cannot always control our painful thoughts, feelings, and situations, we can nevertheless live fulfilling and meaningful lives. She utilizes mindfulness and acceptance-based therapeutic approaches to help clients get themselves unstuck and begin to move in the direction of their personal values.
Gina is skilled in treating a broad range of problem areas including mood and anxiety disorders, body image and eating disorders, grief and loss, and trauma.

Stephanie McSharry, LCSW, CADC

stephaniemcsharryStephanie McSharry, LCSW, CADC, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and a Creative Arts Therapist.Stephanie fell in love with theatre at an early age, finding theatre to be immensely therapeutic for both herself and others growing up. She spent several years working in theatre, even touring around the country as part of a National Touring Company. Theatre was not her only passion, Stephanie was also very dedicated to social justice and helping others through social work. Stephanie’s love for theatre and social work eventually found her going back to school to pursue a counseling degree. Stephanie received Bachelor’s degrees in both Theatre and Social Work and went on to receive her Masters inSocial Work from Loyola University Chicago.Stephanie has over 10 years’ experience in the field and has worked in several agencies around Chicago providing a wide range of therapeutic services as well as clinical supervision. She has done extensive work with individual and group therapy. Stephanie utilizes both verbal counseling and creative arts techniques when working with clients. Her experience includes helping clients deal with personal stress, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, self-worth, life adjustments and relationship issues.Working with Stephanie provides clients a welcoming and safe environment to explore personal matters. She believes there is no one-size- fits-all solution and will work with clients to help provide a holistic therapeutic approach centered on each client’s unique needs. Stephanie is a firm believer in lifelong learning.
